Cases of Corona Virus (COVID-19) infection have been confirmed in Poland

Poland carries out so-called sanitary checks at the border crossings to Germany. During these checks temperature measurements will be taken and contact information recorded. The checks are to be carried out primarily on entry by bus, train and also in ports.
Traveller’s to Poland are kindly requested to follow the travel and security instructions of the United Kingdom Foreign Office. The Polish Ministry of Health has set up a hotline for Corona Virus (in Polish): 800 190 590.

The Polish government announced on 11th March 2020 that further measures to contain the Corona Virus, which include the following: Closure of childcare facilities, schools and universities, as well as state cultural institutions such as operas, theatres and museums in the period from 12th March, 2020 to 25th March, 2020.
